Your prayer

I am anxious about my job and I do not know what comes next.

Reflection

Not knowing what comes next is heavy to carry. This passage invites you to bring that worry to God as it is, today.

Scripture

Philippians 4:6–7 BSB

6Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Faith does not stop on Monday

Sunday is one day. 6days is for the other six, when the worry, the decision or the gratitude actually shows up.

  1. Bring what is on your heart

Write a prayer or a question about daily life, or speak it. Your words are turned into text on your phone, and you can correct them before you send.

  2. Read what Scripture says

6days answers with one to three passages and a short reflection on how they relate to what you brought. Each passage opens in its chapter, so you can read it in context.

  3. Keep it between you and God

Your prayer is saved on your phone, encrypted, and you can come back to it. No pastor, staff member or other person can read it.

Everything stays simple

  • Pray

Type or dictate a prayer or a question, and receive passages chosen for what you brought.

  • Prayer journal

Record spoken prayers each day. The recording and its transcript stay on your phone, and you can fix any word the transcript got wrong.

  • A Bible that works offline

Read and search by reference or by words, with no connection needed. It picks up where you left off.

  • Bookmarks and notes

Mark verses in five colors and add notes, typed or spoken. Keep a voice note with its verse if you like.

  • History

Search your past prayers by word or topic, and see the Scripture you were given.

  • Translation on your iPhone

Translate a journal transcript into another language on the phone itself, with nothing sent anywhere. Needs iOS 18 or later and a language pair the iPhone supports.

Every verse is exact

People trust that the words of Scripture they read are the real ones. So the AI never supplies verse text. It names a reference, and your phone looks it up in a published Bible. A reference that does not exist is thrown away.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Questions

Is the AI writing Scripture?

No. The AI only names references. The app looks up each one in the published Bible stored on your phone, shows that text word for word, and drops any reference that does not exist.

Does 6days replace my pastor or church?

No. It is a companion for the days between Sundays. For ongoing struggles, big decisions and grief, it encourages you to talk with your pastor and the people in your church.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There are no ads, accounts or locked features. You can leave an optional gift through the App Store to help with running costs. A gift unlocks nothing and is not a tithe or a tax-deductible donation, so please keep giving to your local church first.

What if someone is in danger?

When a message suggests someone may be at risk, 6days shows help resources with the answer. It is not an emergency service. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number. In the US, you can call or text 988.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Your prayers and recordings exist only on your phone, so they are lost with it unless it is restored from an encrypted iCloud or computer backup. There is no account or server copy to recover them from.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone, running iOS 16.4 or later.
